Pastor Glenn R. Plummer
President & CEO
Glenn R. Plummer is an ordained minister, pastor, broadcaster, entrepreneur, and leader. He founded the Christian Television Network (CTN) in 1982 and went on to own and operate three local independent TV stations, two in Detroit, Michigan and one in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is most well known as the host of a daily, live, one-hour TV program entitled CTN Live! - the flagship program of the Christian Television Network.

Passionate, outspoken and confrontational, Plummer is admired for his courage and leadership in dealing with the most controversial issues of our culture from a foundation of biblical principles and Christ-like compassion. For more than two decades, he has worked diligently as a pioneer in the field of Christian broadcasting. Pastor Plummer recently ended his 3 1/2-year term as Chairman and CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), the first and only African American to hold that position in the 66-year history of the NRB.

Israel has come to hold a special place in Rev. Plummer's life as he has visited and led tours to the Holy Land on several occasions. A burden and vision for Israel and Black America was placed in Pastor Plummer's heart several years ago. The year 2004 proved to be pivotal in unfolding a new role of leadership for Plummer in the African American and Evangelical community regarding Israel. Thus, the Fellowship of Israel and Black America (FIBA) was launched in February 2006.

A prolific Bible teacher and passionate speaker, Rev. Plummer is often invited to be  keynote speaker. A man of prayer and unity, he has headed the Detroit Day of Prayer for almost a decade.

Pastor Plummer attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan and Brooklyn College in New York City where he majored in Personnel Management. He also attended William Tyndale Bible College in Detroit, Michigan.

He is the Senior Pastor of Ambassadors for Christ Church, a growing and vibrant Detroit area church, which also includes the Wendell Wallace Bible Institute.

Rev. Plummer sits on the Board of Directors of the National Religious Broadcasters and the Board of Advisors of El Al Israel Airlines, the official airline of the State of Israel and for the Fellowship of Israel and Black America (FIBA).

Linda Ross Olmert

Vice President / Director of Israel Office

Linda Ross Olmert speaks extensively to Christians about Jewish Heritage, the developing relationship between Christians and Jews, and Israel.

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, to parents both of whom were Holocaust survivors, slaves in Auschwitz. She identified with the Civil Rights movement and her desire, from an early age, was to march with Martin Luther King Jr. He was assassinated before she was old enough to realize that dream.

She moved to Israel in 1975 where she continued her studies and became involved in Israeli society. She resides in Ra'anna, Israel.

Olmert has continued to work for Israel, in Israel, through many efforts, among them: the research center Palestinian Media Watch (PMW); founding the Israeli Second Generation Bearers of the Holocaust and Heroism Legacy for children of survivors of the Holocaust; weekly guest on the radio show "Front Page Jerusalem"; member of the Board of Directors and Executive Steering Committee of Yad Va'Shem, the National Israeli Holocaust Memorial; and writing programs and conducting seminars on Jewish Identity for the Diaspora Museum.

Ms. Olmert is the mother of three daughters, two of whom have served training combat troops in the Israeli military. Her third and youngest daughter is currently doing her compulsory military service in the IDF (Israel Defense Force) appended to combat troops.

Linda Olmert is the Director of Strategic Planning at Keshet: The Center For Educational Tourism in Israel.

Marilyn Castro

Executive Director

Marilyn Castro was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York in a family of nine. Her family moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1977. She lived in Michigan until she relocated to Orlando, Florida in 2004. One of her educational accomplishments came in 1997 when she graduated from William Tyndale College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and she broke educational barriers by becoming the first college graduate in her family.

Marilyn's unsurpassed talents and vast experience lie in creating and overseeing administrative and organizational structure. She brings exceptional creativity and commitment to both these areas. Her background as a Senior Paralegal has brought her into contact with influential commercial real estate clients but her prime expertise is contract administration and contract law. She has worked in executive administrator capacity exclusively for top executive management in many industries, including Christian Television Network. She is pursuing a Masters degree in Public Administration at Strayer University.

Marilyn is the mother of two sons, Frank and Edward, who are her most valued treasures along with a great supportive family and a host of friends who are her strength. Her oldest son, Frank pursued a Welder/Fabricator career. Her youngest son, Edward plans to enter the Navy and pursue a career in the military in early 2009. Both Marilyn’s maternal and paternal great grandmothers were of Jewish descent. Her maternal grandmother influenced her the most and encouraged her to break  traditional barriers. Marilyn recognizes that without the support and inspiration of her family she would never have accomplished any of her goals. She  hopes that family members will inspire and support anyone wanting to break barriers. Her lifetime dream has been to visit the land of her ancestors and through FIBA she already has had the opportunity to make the dream a reality.
